Police nad Metují is a gate to the rock towns – the Ostaš table mountain
with two rock labyrinths and Broumovské stěny ridge with numerous
sandstone gulches and viewpoints are located nearby. Town sights worth
paying attention to include the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin
with a valuable Early Gothic portal and a number of other monuments.
Police nad Metují is also renowned thanks to the Merkur Brick Box
Museum, which introduces the history and present of this unique toy.
