The Jestřebí hory are an ideal location for hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing in winter.
The area is characterized by its unique natural resources, historical and cultural monuments and places of distant views. Along the entire length of the ridge of the Jestřebí Mountains extends a defensive line of bunkers from the Second World War. On display are a number of smaller casemates, some of which are reconstructed. The highest point of the Jestřebí Mountains is the Žaltman lookout tower (739 metres above sea level). From the tower there is a panoramic view of the Krkonoše Mountains, Rýchory, Vraní Mountains, the Adršpach – Teplice Rocks, Soví and Javoří Mountains, Broumovsko, Hronovsko, the Orlické Mountains, Králický Sněžník, the Stolové Mountains and Zvičina. Nearby is the cave of the robber Lotranda. The Jestřebí Mountains and their surrounding areas, thanks to their location, jaggedness and diversity, are ideal for hiking and cycling, and in winter for cross-country skiing. The region maintains several marked hiking trails and bicycle paths, which are connected to neighbouring Poland.
